The Biography of Uthman Ibn Affan (R.A.) – Dr. Ali Al-Sallabi (imported)

The Biography of Uthman Ibn Affan (R.A.) by Dr. Ali Muhammad Al-Sallabi is a detailed, authentic English account of the life of the third Caliph of Islam and one of the ten companions promised Paradise.

The book traces Uthman (R.A.)'s journey from being among the earliest people to accept Islam, through his close bond with Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — who married two of his daughters to him, earning Uthman the title "Dhun-Noorayn" (Possessor of Two Lights). It covers his legendary generosity, his central role in compiling and standardizing the Qur'an, and the major expansion and institutional achievements of the Islamic empire during his caliphate.

The author also addresses the turmoil and hypocrisy that arose during the final years of his rule, correcting common misconceptions spread by his detractors, and drawing honest lessons from the fitna that eventually led to his martyrdom. Every detail is presented from authentic, well-referenced sources, free from fabricated narratives.
