Minha-tul-Bari Urdu 12 Volume Set | Sahih Bukhari Sharah

Minha-tul-Bari is a landmark scholarly commentary that walks through the entirety of Sahih Bukhari in the Urdu language, offering the kind of depth normally reserved for classical Arabic commentaries. Authored jointly by Hafiz Muhammad Gondalvi and Maulana Muhammad Ramzan Salafi, this 12-volume hardcover set goes far beyond a simple translation — it breaks down chapter headings, evaluates chains of narration, discusses the standing of individual narrators, and draws out the legal and doctrinal lessons embedded in each Hadith.

What sets this commentary apart is its engagement with Imam Bukhari's own methodology. The order in which Hadiths appear, the wording of chapter titles, and the placement of narrations relative to one another all carry scholarly weight — and Minha-tul-Bari brings that layer of meaning to Urdu-reading students for the first time at this scale. The authors lean on the great classical commentaries — including Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani's Fath al-Bari and Badr al-Din al-Ayni's Umdat al-Qari — condensing centuries of scholarship into an accessible, well-organized Urdu reference.

This set is a natural fit for anyone progressing beyond basic Hadith translation into genuine analytical study, and it stands as a core acquisition for any serious Hadith reference collection.
